Detalji o spotu
It was a warm summer day on 5/30/2020. I hadn't seen any cars out and about for two months since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States. I was eating a lunch I brought from home on a bench facing West Putnam Avenue/US-1 when I saw something yellow coming out of the corner of my eye. I audibly shouted "JESUS F*CKING CHRIST!" when I realized it was a Fayence Yellow Porsche Carrera GT that was turning onto Greenwich Avenue. I got into my car that was parked along the street nearby to try to look for it but it was gone. I have been waiting to see this particular Porsche Carrera GT for not one, not two but TEN years. Before I saw it, the last documented sighting of it in Greenwich was in 2015. It hasn't been seen or heard from up until I spotted it. The best part about this spot is that I was apparently the only one who saw it as there were no other spotters in Greenwich that day. I will never forget the feeling that I had when I spotted it, that I have finally caught this car that I have been waiting for so long to see in person. Out of the 1,250 Carrera GTs that were built, only 89 were painted Fayence Yellow. And that my friends is why I have decided that this spot should be the 4000th spot I have uploaded onto this site. Here's to more spots in the future!
